Spanish authorities have arrested a Panamanian woman who arrived at Barcelona airport with 1.38kg of cocaine concealed in her breast implants.

The interior ministry said on Wednesday border police had noticed fresh scars and blood-stained gauze on the woman's chest and pale patches beneath her skin. The woman said she had recently had breast implant surgery.

Officers were suspicious and sent her to a local hospital where the implants were removed and found to contain cocaine, the ministry added.

The woman had flown in from Bogotá, Colombia.

European authorities routinely submit passengers arriving from Latin America to stringent checks to combat drug smuggling.

Whenever I come back from any south American country I get harrassed, almost all dudes who travel dolo to those countries and they don't got family or friends there and didn't go on business. The worst was when I came back from Panama, those customs cock suckers looked like they wanted to plant some shyt on me

I didn't know they were trying to smuggle coke through airports now in Spain tho.

Spain is like the gateway for drugs to the rest of mainland Europe. Usually the Colombians smuggle their coke by boat through Galicia and from there it goes to the rest of Europe. So this is a rare case I think cause usually they smuggle sh!t by boat. But if ur that stupid, u deserve to get caught.
