Woman 'covered in blood' charged with murder in Highland Springs
Richmond, VA – A Virginia woman was still covered in blood Thursday morning when she walked into the Richmond Police Station and told authorities to check on her girlfriend – who was later found stabbed to death inside her Highland Springs apartment, WWBT reported.
Sheena Yolonda Wilson, 33, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 26-year-old Ava Latae Tucker. Wilson admitted to the murder, according to a police affidavit.
A motive in the killing was immediately clear.
“We’ve never had anything like this that I can remember,” longtime resident Judy French said.
