Kentucky couple allegedly swapped baby for truck - Sympatico.ca Autos
Good grief but why are the Brown's in shyt though? They gave up the truck, not the kid
A Kentucky couple is facing charges of human trafficking after they allegedly traded their pickup truck for a newborn baby boy.
If convicted, husband and wife Jeremy and Jaimee Brown of Kentucky could get 20 years in prison.
On July 13 they pleaded not guilty to charges they'd swapped their 1999 Dodge Dakota for the toddler. The baby boy that changed hands in the deal was born in January to Heather Kaminksy, 30, a childhood friend of Jamiee's, reports AutoBlog.
Kaminsky, still at large, has had two of her children taken away by social services in Florida, say police, which is why she moved to Kentucky to have this baby.
After the trade, police say Kaminsky sold the truck for $800 and some meth.
The child is reportedly in good health and in the custody of social services.
