even though belfort's overall net trappings pale in comparison to a lot of the larger wall street crooks of our generation his books were pretty fun reads (minus the mediocre editing of course). i'm definitely looking forward to this film and 
, mcconaughey, jonah hill as donny. all of this stuff, the references to the 90's, the locales, the restaurants and scense, the areas of LI (brookeville and hamtoins) etc all hit close to home for me so perhaps that's why i'm a little more into the whole thing than most other wall street guys who view belfort and stratton as piss ants.

kanye didn't lose
they used the song well
hip-hop did kinda lose because they went in on the term fugazi, and some of edits were off
it good to see hip-hop songs being synched to movie trailers.
the movie trailers folks paid a nice penny to use kanye song and kanye probably got a nice check from the usage of his song.

i read both books. the stories are very entertaining but the editing is pretty piss poor.
