Daniel Bryan might not remain one man against the WWE system for much longer.

Word is WWE is talking about pairing Bryan with CM Punk to feud with Triple H and WWE Champion Randy Orton. Another idea being tossed around is to have Bryan team with Shawn Michaels.

If Bryan were to team up with Punk, the Straight Edge Superstar would cut a worked shoot promo in which he would talk about where they came from and how he had to threaten to quit WWE in order to get pushed. Punk would also talk about Triple H "holding guys down," how he and Bryan aren't the model WWE Superstars and how the company is now treating his colleague the same way they treated him.

In this scenario, Punk would realign with Paul Heyman. The rationale for Punk and Heyman working together again would be that the only thing they hate more than each other is The McMahons.

I don't hate a Punk/Bryan alliance at all if they lay it out properly. At the end of the day I just wanna see DBry holding up that belt in front of that WMXXX logo

Well, HHH did stick his nose into the hottest storyline of the past few years, so would only be fair for Punk to get involved.

Eventually he and Bryan are gonna have tag matches..but the Heyman part sounds absurd.

Also have to take into consideration what happens with Lesnar at WMXXX and Curtis Axel in the short term.

Heyman booked as a babyface in WWE ... hard concept to imagine. Although I guess they could keep him as a heel who reluctantly joins forces with the babyfaces and maybe even fukks them over in the end.

Yeah, this gotta be a few months down the road at least. I'm not against the general idea, but if they rush into it, it'll seem pretty silly.

And if the reason is that they have doubts about D-Bry's ability to hold up his end of a main event program on his own, they're dead wrong.
