Saw this in the 90's, like I rented on VHS around 1998 or so

or saw it on black box cable

as a kid, I probably was into the horror/werewolf aspect, but there's a whole social/class comedy going on too, it's like a satire of the newspaper business? Probably entertaining as an adult.
