The people who truly want a game will already have bought a Playstation to play the game. The average console gamer isn't suddenly going to become a patient monk and wait years to play hyped up games on another platform that you're assuming they have and want to game on. The overlap of PC gamers waiting with PS gamers I would assume is very small.

But you are talking about just a few games. Sure if you are a die hard uncharted fan and just must play the game day one, then you will need a PlayStation day one. But in the grand scheme of things that’s not a lot of people.

The tune of over 16 million copies sold on PS4 within the span of 3 years is way more than your "not a lot of people" claim. Is 16 million people not a lot of people?

In the same release year it sold over 8 million units:

100 million PS4's sold doesn't mean 100 million of the sales were all for people who all wanted one game. All gamers play different things. There's 1.2 billion PC gamers out there that doesn't mean now every game on PC has the potential to sell hundreds of millions.

Attach rates for consoles are not sky high. You'd be surprised at the amount of people who might buy a console and barely buy any games for it.
