Why? For someone who missed that Flair run in the 80s it was nice to see a modern day adaptation of it through Triple H.
Him being the champ and defending the title against a vast array of challengers made for some fascinating viewing in my opinion.
It sucked because every title match was trash and ended in interference, so it’s not like HHH was strong during his reign.
The shyt that pissed me off was at Mania 19 with Booker T. The crowd WANTED a title change, and at the end, there was a good 20 second stall between Booker T being pinned, and this nikka didn’t kick out. When has that every happened before, especially on a Wrestlemania?
It was disrespectful, especially how racially charged that feud was.
