WIP WWII King And Queen Playing Card

If you seen any of my playing cards, I made a series of P51s and Rosie's as playing cards...

ACE of SPADES
DEUCE of SPADES
TREY of SPADES
JOKER
KING OF SPADES (Tuskegee Airman)
QUEEN OF SPADES (Black Rosie)

All are 30x40 too. My smallest series to date.

On cardboard, with acrylic, paper, crayon, spray paint, oil stick and is true to the Lister Mixed Media works of Art.

"Kings Of Spades: Masters Of The Air"

"Kings Of Spades: Masters Of The Air" 30x40 Mixed Media On Wood Panel (Acrylic, Oil Stick, Spray Paint, Cardboard, Papier)

The idea came from War Games and Board Games of Black culture. Apparently whiskey, Poker, Spades and Tonk was fave Games of Tuskegee Airmen and Negro soldiers in the USAF.

So I came up with playing cards and did a series on war playing cards.

This was due to not seeing WWII art of black men in abundance. Which includes Black Pin Up girls and the oversaturation of White Airmen.
