I respect the concept of allowing women to be in control of their bodies, and choosing what they do with them, but then again this is a false fight. Women have always in general have been in control of their bodies. Women are the gatekeepers of sex and always have been. I would have been a little more impressed if the proceeds went to states that defunded planned parenthood, or a larger emphasis on ways women can protect themselves from unwed pregnancies and STDs. Increased condom usage and the like. There could have been a more positive message instead, we have 2 major issues, I'm a bit surprised how man Black women, look to Amber Rose as an honorary sista. It's a perfect analogy if we are speaking about freedom of choice and trusting the individual to make choices for themselves. I'm not using it as an analogy in the broader debate about abortion. It illustrates that just because a freedom potentially can be abused, it doesn't have to be abused. What kind of society do you think we will have if we're banning everything that can in theory be abused? You're obviosly not a stupid person so you should be able to understand the use of that analogy even if you don't agree.

Circumstances can change during the pregnancy. Job situation, familiy situation, mental health etc can change to where being pregnant becomes too difficult. In addition, the fact that getting pregnant can be irresponsible in some cases doesn't make any difference. Some women just aren't fit to be pregnant, so whether that pregnancy was irresponsible or not is irrelevant. If that child will be 100% neglected or born with defects because the mother is addicted to drugs during the pregnancy, abortion is probably the best option.
