If your interested Windows 8 Release Preview is now available for download.

Download Windows 8 Release Preview

If you used Consumer Preview, Release Preview fixes stability, added more metro applications, added flash to the metro browser and improved multi-monitor support.

Windows 8 Release Preview: new apps, improvements, and Flash support (hands-on) | The Verge

Windows 8 is a solid OS I like it a lot better than Windows 7 and OSX. It might take some time to get accustomed to the Metro UI, Desktop and No Start menu but once you get the hang of it the operating system is smoother and more efficient even for power users.

If I come around to it I will post a review but check it out. The future of all Microsoft products will run Windows 8 and metro this is the start.

Desktop uses more aero its pretty nice flipping between Metro and UI is very easy and fluid.

The Start Menu isn't there you don't really need it you can access the Metro UI which has all your applications just by pressing the Windows Key its actually a lot more efficient.

If i download this, and don't like it...how would i go back to windows 7?
If you decide to go back to your previous operating system, you'll need to reinstall it from the recovery or installation media that came with your PC, which is typically DVD media. If you don’t have recovery media, you might be able to create it from a recovery partition on your PC using software provided by your PC manufacturer. Check the support section of your PC manufacturer’s website for more information. After you install Windows 8, you won’t be able to use the recovery partition on your PC to go back to your previous version of Windows.

I need to upgrade to this, been using the consumer preview...

It's a real dope os and i like the customization. They said they will be ditching aero with the full release because aero is too "cheesy".

I use windows 8 at home and lion at work, both have their pros and cons...I would use ubuntu strictly but it doesnt let me use the creative suite. So at home i run windows 8 and ubuntu in a virutal machine on another screen that acts as my web development local server. At work we have a dedicated machine running an internal development environment in the office.

Here's a screen shot of my windows 8 desktop:
