Six months after its release, Windows 10 has finally passed 10 percent market share. Not only that, but the latest and greatest version from Microsoft has alsoovertaken Windows 8.1 and Windows XP, according to the latest figures from Net Applications. Windows 10 had 9.96 percent market share in December, and gained 1.89 percentage points to hit 11.85 percent in January.

a large number of companies simply cannot justify the mass upgrades. plus you have compatability issues regarding essential programs being so old they stop working on anything above xp. add to the fact that a mass upgrade would mean mass migration and that means mad downtime, plus you might have to teach idiots to acclimate to the new system. and also add to the fact that many older pcs and laptops won't have the necessary specs to upgrade and then you have to consider the extra hardware upgrade costs. I'm still saying fukk my company though, we are the biggest tech and telecom company in my city BY FAR and we still can't even get a fukking canteen or cool benefits. just medical coverage and employee discounts on company products. smfh how come everyone else gets discounts on transport and shopping and shyt :francis:

fukk XP. I fukking hate XP. I loved it when it came out

I thought it looked cartoon like and not serious. I was expecting a windows 2000 design tweak as more folks was using windows NT at home cause 9x was getting more trash by the year.

I got windows xp pro upgrade in 2002 and XP wasn't somewhat modern stable until service pack 2 when blue screen of death wasn't as common.

I been using a windows 10 laptop for 4.5years and I don't think I seen a blue screen of death ever. Now Windows xp laptops and windows 7 laptops could crash anytime after sleep or hibernate for an extended period of time. I can leave my windows 10 laptop untouched for a month and still be good in my experiences.

8 & 8.1 was redundant and silly with the charm bars & start menu. Glad Microsoft course corrected with Windows 10.

People said haters of 8/8.1 was out of touch and stupid, lol. Naww windows 10 was a return to form by the end of its run.
