Even his flawed movies are worth peeping. Great example:


Has its flaws but it's still Friedkin in his element, suspense wise. Full of fukkery, and the type of erotic thriller that doesn't exist anymore.

One of my favorite directors of all time, did not candy coat or PC up his depiction of violence or despicable characters.

Sorcerer is probably my favorite movie by him right next The French Connection.

This is a great documentary to watch on Shudder, RIP Friedkin. I love that he straight told Blatty that his script was trash, and then made a bunch of notes in a copy of the book so that Blatty could capture the right vibes.
