Will we ever live to see Shenmue 3?

Probably my favorite game off dreamcast....basically started all these open world rpg/ action hybrids ....I've heard rumors about a third one being in development but as far as I kno it's all :ducktales: however I need the final
Chapter to this epic trilogy in my life....imagine what that shyt would b like on a next gen console bruhs

I highly doubt we'll ever see it. Sega ain't doing too well right now. They shut down their Europe and Australia offices this week and said they're focusing on smaller games and remakes for Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, etc.

i never got to play the second one. First one is my favorite game of all time. I use to play that for HOURS at a time.

I went back and re-purchased a dreamcast last year specifically to play this game again.

Amazing game,far ahead of its time.

Dreamcast was low key a great system full of unqiue amazing games. Anyone ever play seaman?

Games today for the most part bore me.No creaitivity really except for the odd exception. Just the same old tired ass FPS games and fakkit fan boys argueing over which cookie cutter experience was better. Pathetic.

did the Exact same thing this yr....went to 8 bit and up in the city, copped a dreamcast , shenmue and Code Veronica.....and Seaman was ill for the time I used to talk to that thing in my room like a loser ....id always get to the point where he'd start askin philosophical questions but then I wouldn't play for a couple days n he'd starve to death...I'd actually like to know how that game ends....remember fukkin w the date on the system so he'd grow faster? Ahh my youth

I beat the first Shenmue, I remember getting the 2nd one for christmas, played it for a few hours then never played it ever again

Bought myself a Dreamcast just to relive the DC classics, this one included since I never beat it as a kid. I burned all the games and I've been having a blast. Very good $25 investment.

probably never considering how Sega is struggling financially.

Tho we may get HD versions of the past ones so Sega can get the easy cash in for people that want to play them again and those that never played it.

Tho their next HD game seems to be Sonic Adventure 2.
