I read the book a couple of times and if done right, it could make a powerful movie

I know they have thought about making this into a film for a long time but they never seemed to go all the way through with it. I heard plenty of times that it was in the works but never happened in the end.

I would go see it.

Maybe but I doubt it will be that big a deal. Its 2012 out here, there is way more offensive and controversial topics made in movies and media everyday, this is nothing.

If this story was made a movie in the 80s or 90s then yes, I would agree, but its 2012.

I know various film studios over the years have been trying to make this flick work but the project seems to get scrapped somewhere down the line.

I agree its a demonic lifestyle but I'm interested by the story. Its just a man telling the story of his life and how things worked out for him.

The story of what made him into the man he was. There were many different factors and for the most part it was an honest story of how things were for him. I find that interesting.

And yeah, that was part of his story. He really resented his mother and was abused by a woman as a child.

He was very angry against his mother cause she married this great man whom he really loved and she ended up leaving him for some scum bag pimp who used her and abused her. So that was something that affected him deeply. Its a pretty interesting story. I don't read that much but I recommend it.

I listened to the audio book. It was satanic filth. I see why he denounced this trash when he became more mature, in his elderly years.

Well, towards the peak of his career he kinda was a little, the way he was telling it but for the most part, it wasn't glorified.

Yeah I see what ur saying. But at the end of the day, he's just telling u his story, what u do with that knowledge, well, that's up to the reader.

So, I still think it should be made into a movie. It would be an interesting film if done well.
