Nas and Jays fan bases overlap far far more than Kendrick and Drakes. Most people at least respect both Nas and Jay as good artists if they are a fan of either.

Also, to answer OP, YES because this is probably the most notable track-for-track feuds in the history of MUSIC between two artists and it's happening in the era of social media with American social division at its peak.
This shyt happened on an election year AFTER the Katt Williams interview to kick the year off. People have been in the mood to argue all year.

While I actively seek out and listen to Kendrick albums and haven't listened to a Drake album since his first I still respect Drake. It's a huge accomplishment to be on top as long as he has been.

The issue is Kendrick fans hate kendrick so when kdot says hes a hater and hates kendrick, they love him even more for it because it reinforces their own behavior (even though most of rap lines are shytting on haters)
