It really depends on how strong the characters are
After seeing all the characters in FF7 Remake again it really hit me that we haven't had just cool interactions with the ff characters in awhile
or maybe it's just me

Yeah I want a completely new and finished final fantasy games, it’s been too long
Did anyone really expect this game to be released next year? We haven’t seen the game since it was first shown last year so I didn’t expect it to be released in full anytime soon. I’m not even expecting 2023, more like 2024.

No they are in polishing stages, i still expect it to release next year or early 2023.
Yoshi p said he didn’t want to show it again until they could start taking preorders, if that was supposed to be this winter that would have made it a spring release, if they do it in spring it would be a fall release

Forespoken is gonna be Square’s big game of 2022, FF16 will likely be a early 2023 game.
Who makes AAA JRPGs outside of Square Enix anyway?

Now that the budget gap has increased so much for games, pretty much no one. There’s stuff like persona/SMT, Yakuza, Tales of, fire emblem, xenoblade…but they dont have the same budget as square enix games.
