Word is Obama camp had insisted on seeing Bills speech and Bill is refusing to comply...hmmm

Think about it he can't really show much support for Obama if he wants to give Hillary a good chance and must distance himself from what is really a stagnant barely there weak recovery...I bet he talks more about his time in the presidency and what one must do to succeed a president

I don't know, but he has thrown Obama under the bus quite a few times before. When Obama critisized Bain, he basically made it sound like he didn't know what he was talking about and dapped Romney. And I think he publicly critisized him on taxes once.

It's a gamble either way--in some ways Obama needs him to speak up, but in another he is giving him a major platform to discredit him in some way that could make his wife look more electable the next go around.

This same bullshyt story was all the rage in 2008 and Clinton killed it at the DNC Convention then. Bill lives for these occasions and at his core is a party loyalist so he will kill it again.
Plus he's Bill Clinton...he doesn't need his speech written for him by anyone or micromanaged. Just give him the gist of what you want said and let him do his thing.

Im more concerned about Obama's speech. He hasn't had to deliver a hot speech in a min. He's due for a dud and I think Bill is going head to head with Cowboys/Giants. Dont know what the DNC was thinking. Then Obama's speech is going against the VMAs.
