Doesn't count - Menace II Society, Boyz N The Hood, and the Friday movies transcend race. Those mid - 90's Cali based "hood" movies are some of the GOAT movies, period. I guarantee you even hardcore racists enjoy them. Just like GTA San Andreas is considered the best of the series by pretty much every race. Actually, any movie set in Cali with black people in it is great. Like Training Day, for example. I don't know what it is because those New York - based Spike Lee joints are straight up garbage to me.
