Why they don't make split screen tvs any more?

I remember back in the early 2000s.I went over somebody house and we was playing some ninja turtle game on this

After like 30 minutes the breh who tv it was, stand up infront of the tv

Breh: changes channel and it split screen & turns on the TMNT show.

That shyt had me as a early teen

I thought that was gone be the wave
That was my favorite gaming experience ever

I think some TV's still have picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture, but no one uses that shyt. it's one of those things that seems cool, but really isn't very useful

It's good for sports and things that don't need your full attention. The ESPN app does it.
