Belly was a collosal financial flop...which is sad because it was visually stunning and IMO should've propelled hype into at least visual direction of films.

Nas was far from being the sole factor in Belly being garbage. Replace him with another random hot rapper of the time and it remains a long music video

Yeah it's not like the cast of Belly was a Tour de Force of acting. DMX T Boz Method Man(good actor) Nas Vita AZ Wee bay...yeah Nas it the reason the movie wasn't great
