Why no love for Shinobi???

Classic series and one of the first and best games I ever played.

Why doesn't Shinobi get the love some other classics get?

Plenty of classics have gotten multiple reboots and love.

Why is Shinobi left out? I'd love a reboot either 2D or 3D.
