Why my glutes more sore than my legs after leg day?

which exercises are you doing on leg day?

how many sets?

how many reps?

how many days a week?

Squats 10x4
Calf raises 10x4
Lunges 10x4
Hamstring curls 10x4
Quad extension 10x4
Abductor 10x4

Once a week
actually seems to be more a quad heavy workout than a hamstring heavy workout.

is this a new workout program for you? sometimes DOMS can take a few weeks or cycles through a program before it dissipates.

You doing squats with your feet wide apart? If so that's your glutes working harder than your legs, try squatting with your feet closer together and pointing straight forward...should burn like hell
