why megaupload become more popular than media fire?

mediafire is 10x better than megaupload. you don't have to wait for 59 seconds and the download speeds are way faster. amrite? <----- who is this?

Mediafire is good for smaller files like mp3s. People are willing to wait longer for larger files.

Mediafire was running the game back when you could google basically any album + mediafire and get a download link on the first result. out of all the media I downloaded between 2010-11 like 95% was mediafire and the rest was torrents, just easier to find.

Of course now they shut themselves down and you can't find anything, but I'll always have the memories
