If I remember this right, Burger King had two other non chicken menu items under this same “Exciting Things” marketing campaign. Jay Leno was the celebrity used in the other commercial and I can’t remember who was in the 3rd one, but it was a White person.

Mary’s was by far the most bootleg of the three and the thirsty activists also were “outraged” that the Black person was assigned the fried chicken item.

This was hilarious. A comedy troupe, I think Second City, made a hilarious parody to this back in the day.
