I haven't even been on The Coli 6 months but im noticing some things about us (black people as a whole). I was losing hope in us as a whole (i was starting to get that 'if you aren't trying to do better then i won't help you mentality' which our people can ill afford) but my wife helped me with some of that.

We as a 'culture' are the most divided group of people on the planet. Gay people don't bicker amongst themselves as much as we do, it's disgusting. Calling each other c00n, agent, or cac when someone says something we don't like or agree with instead of having a mature discourse. Or Muslims jumping on Christians 'white Jesus' like Muhammad dudnt come from a culture of black slave ownership.

We like to talk sh*t when it's hot, but we don't like to do anything. The powers that be know that and don't take us serious because we don't take us seriously.

How many dumba$$ threads get made in here with stupid ish like: What other country do black people go to to flourish? :smh: Brehs and Brehettes the sad truth is if you can't figure out how to make moves in America then you won't be able to make it anywhere. Those threads are escape-ism, no different then when Thots run to ATL, Miami or Houston to "start over." There is No Black Utopia because there is no Utopia. Utopia on exists for the .5% who did some slimy ish to take it or for those born into it. You think Africans are going to let come over and let you flourish without someone getting some payola? "But we're all black over there, right?" then tell me why they are going to war with each other every year and commiting atrocities? People always talking about Black people coming up but don't wanna talk about a plan. This place is packed with faux revolutionaries that have former black leaders in their avi but don't want to talk about the black businesses in their area and can't/won't put anyone in here on game on how to come up. How to file copyright papers, steps to go through to form a business.

Brehs in here looking at Tariq Nasheed and Umar Johnson and Boyce Watkins to guide them when they are too undisciplined to guide themselves.

Cornballs and Complainers run deep on the Coli and when we ask em what they are doing to change things or what the plan is, they answer with Emotion or Silence....

......just like Umar.

So what are you doing to change things OP?

Fair question. You can't complain if,you aren't doing anything right?

I've got two small business in the incubator. (should have big news on one next month).

I'm a big brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters org.

My Corporate career is doing okay so every time I'm in a thread regarding business I tell guys to PM me about how to get there resumes right and how to move properly in this Corporate jungle. I've got an ask me anything mentality.

Even now if you have questions about how to move out here let me know. I'll help if I can.

I want everyone to get theirs because when we come up finacially and reach back down it gets us further from the helpless, handout mentality that some of us have toward cacs and gets us closer to being able to dictate what's going on,in our communities.

As I've said before, the fact that there are more confirmed/known Black posters on this website, compared to the average website, does not make this a Black website. Some of views (especially the more radical ones) expressed on this website, I'd generously estimate, represent no more than 5% of the real world Black population.

I've had two threads on here tryna get folks hip. Like I've said before...if it ain't about sex, sports or rap they ain't hearing it. If anyone wants me to bump my struggle threads, I'll gladly do so to help folks out and give them advice.

I think the problem is that they don't want to hear any of that stuff because they feel hopeless against white supremacy. It's like fighting a fight with all your strength and no matter what you do, you keep getting your ass kicked. I feel it too sometimes but then I think about the future. I don't want black kids in the future to struggle and feel the way we do. It's not about us, it's about making it better for the next generation. Making them stronger and giving them the tools necessary.

As for the division in the community, that's because everyone is fighting for scraps. Look at rap. They always brag about how much money they have and how you're a fukkboy if you're broke. We need to cut that mentatlity. And like you said, there's is no utopia. First blacks in America need to unionize because let's be honest, we're the leaders of this. I always thought that the majority of blacks needed to move to like 2 or 3 cities. We're useless in America if we're spread out and make up like 7% of the population. We should have our own black mayors, police, teachers...ect We should support each other businesses.

Family structure is a big thing as well. We need to get that back under control. If you have kids, be financially stable, married, two parent home...ect Actually teach your kids and stop letting them glorify that bullshyt rap life and stripper life. Black people need to dream past being NBA players, rappers, reality tv stars...ect

That brings me to the hood. That's where we need to focus a lot of our effort towards. People in those conditions are mentally damaged. They need a complete overhaul in those places. Maybe offer some type of classes to those people where they can be enlightened.

Honestly, we all just need to get on the same sheet and talk with one another. I'm not sure how to do that though? Maybe an Internet forum like this and push it to as many black people you can find? Idk. Black leaders have been lecturing for some time and we see where that's gotten us. Talking is the first step.

I'm all over the place with this post btw. I didn't properly express myself but just some thoughts.

Website lets people turn up and be the nuts they wanna be without anyone looking at them crazy. Being on here is depressing sometimes due to the fighting and the doom and gloom. Go talk to real people and that feeling goes away.

It ain't all bad out here.

@Treblemaka you've apparently never been a member of a tribe. Or for even more fun, a tribe with a gaming compact.

Everywhere I go, throughout the United States, I see Black people working hard and excelling. And I mean at every level. I've seen Black people busting their asses from the lowest to highest paying jobs/careers. I see families making good life for their children, I see folks planning their futures. I see people even going around informally doing odd jobs, yard work, repairs. At every single level, every city, every suburban place I've been, I see Black people doing their thing.

I don't know how you cannot see #BlackExcellence everywhere you go.

Nothing is perfect, but the vast majority of Black people are doing their thing and helping others along the way.

I am, are you?

I think this site could have a high capacity to help push change for our community but as long as its just a lounge for people who like to argue it will be just that.

Most of my friends are doing well for themselves, I am only referring to the Coli. If this is a place where people go to say stuff they wouldn't say in public then I think a fair amount of people here have skewed thought processes.

This site should probably be renamed TheFukery.com because just like real life sh*t attracts more flies than honey.

Well if you know anything about real life then you'll know that the vast majority of these people are in digital blackface. Most of these people are white trolls who are only pretending. A good 90%

It starts at a young age. The black people who are intelligent and go against the grain are savaged in the black community. By the time they are established and able to do good, they are so bitter and resentful toward the community, they wont do anything to help it.
