Why isn't Soylent Green recognized as a GOAT Scifi movie??

acting, storytelling and cinematography are all great. It definitely should be on the list of movies you should watch at least one in your lifetime.

Apart from that one scene everybody knows, Soylent Green is pretty much unwatchable.

Soylent Green still stands up for me. All of Heston's "Post-Apocolyptic Trilogy" movies are still just as awesome now as the first time I saw them.

I’m shocked that people are saying “it doesn’t hold up.” Saw it last night and loved it. Great film, and I was gonna do this same thread.
