I've been on a bunch of forums scoping for some highlights, and noticed the Kickboxing scene is always starving.

Boxing or Wrestling is always the most populated then MMA.

I'm guessing lack of promotion overall, nevermind any big names if they get no promotion.

Because it hasnt been marketed as well in my opinion.

Pretty much this, outside of GLORY there hasn't been a major push to market the sport here. And most of the prestigious kickboxing companies are overseas, so unless you're a hardcore fan of the sport you're not going to be exposed to it.

Without being on a major TV network it's hard to get new fans to watch. Just look at what the SPIKE TV deal for the UFC, without that exposure they probably would've went out of business by 2007. With Viacom pushing GLORY as hard as they are I expect to see an increase in interest in the next few years.

GLORY kickboxing to no longer air on Spike TV

Confirming long-standing rumors, GLORY kickboxing events will no longer air on Spike TV. After a run of more than a dozen events dating back to 2013, Spike will no longer air the top kickboxing organization's shows. The network confirmed the news with MMA Fighting on Tuesday.
