why is jumping rope so underrated nowadays

I have a jump rope but i suck at it so i kinda gave up trying. Any good video tutorials i should check out that will help me ?

Not sure how you reached the conclusion that its underrated but I do it from time to time. Bought one on Amazon a year ago.

For me it's the monotony of it. Any cardio that has me staying in one place gets me tired very quickly.

I prefer to play soccer for my cardio. I'll run every now and then. More so when I'm away from home of if I need a quick 30 min mind refresher etc.

It's hard for most dudes who never did it to do it GOOD. I mean we can all jump rope but can you skip and keep pace without fukking up for 20 minutes straight?
Jumping rope takes WAY more mental energy than running, which makes it seem overall way harder imo

shyt is literally the best cardio. You can burn 1000 calories jumping rope for an hour and it's more fun than running, cycling or rowing. It had a learning curve of you arent use to it but it's worth it.
I do alot of jumping Jack's but I really like cycling. I love boxing though...letting my hands go. It's the most fun thing in the work out game.

Headphones is a good deterrent for me for a exercise bike type thing.

aint nobody, save for the super elite, jumping rope for an hour. that's way too much impact.

that said, jumping rope isn't underrated, i do it in 1-2 minutes intervals, usually as part of my warm up and between sets
