It seems like I'm always seeing these dudes all over YouTube doing interviews these days, but people don't keep the same energy for them as they do others. I wonder why that it? Is it cultural?
See what I mean. Not sure if this is still the case, but a better question is why hip hop culture used to lionize these racist degenrates en masse.
See what I mean.
They are consuming content from them in large numbers and making media about them. It's no different. Are Italian American teens and men trying to be like them, or pretending to be like them? Are they being incorporated in white music? Are white people screaming “free that man” when they get locked up?
But my point is they don't get the same energy for being terrible people. If Black gangsters like Alpo, Wayne Perry, etc available to get interviewed they would be.
Remember hood 2 hood DVD, Don Diva magazine, etc. Black gangsters get idolized just as much as CAC ones do in my observation
Who do you think you're fooling, trying to rebuild your image with this shameless ass dap fishing, you c00n.Because they can’t blame rap music
It’s very different. Consuming content, and trying to emulate them are two different things. Italian Americans don’t like the mafia image. They know it makes them look bad. If they are involved, they keep it on the low. They don’t brag about it. Name a current white celebrity who is vocal and open about being involved in organized crime. They are consuming content from them in large numbers and making media about them. It's no different.
