Why is CAPSLOCK still a key on the keyboard?

It's 2012....we use keyboards differently now than when typewrites were state of the art. They keyboard should undergo a few changes...

a .com would be outdated soon since they're going to add a bunch of new top level domains. Plus with browsers like chrome you don't really need it.
