I tend to agree. On the other hand, I suspect that Vince is more hands off with these HHH vanity projects than he is with the Royal Rumble, and I would have thought there's no way they would book Japanese to win both rumbles including the Historic First Ever!!! women's one.

I'm cool with her losing in the finals anyway. Io has never been damaged by losses really. She stayed putting over 17 year old rookies and uncoordinated white girls in Stardom but still manages to somehow always seem like superwoman.

I actually kinda hope they get her first L out of the way early enough that there's no talk of streaks and all that. Our Ace don't need that undefeated gimmick.

I'm getting the vibe that Vince and Dunn are going to be more "hands on" with this one, and she is seen as less of a HHH pet project like Asuka's streak and Kairi's tournament win. I feel like Io will get better treatment and storylines in comparison due to her English and in ring skills. It's just a hunch, I could be wrong.
