Four Tops for example have 5 million monthly spotify listeners, no way that's mostly mexicans. Ashanti is around 6-7 million monthly listeners even though she debuted decades later. If your parents are from the boomer gen then you heard those motown era songs regularly and ended up liking some of those songs and probably liked listening to some of them in your free time as a adult
