I'm a mecha fan and for some reason I can't seem to find any new Mecha anime to watch. It seems like it's all Gundam, anyone else notice this?
Why don't they make Mecha anime like the used to?

I was thinking about this watching big O. I think it’s probably cause overall the popularity of mecha anime may be slipping? To me I haven’t seen a lot of different shows like I did from the late 90’s to 2000’s
Like at one point between toonami and G4TV and the movie channels there was a new mecha anime like every other season.
