Why don't some NBA teams play music at their games?

So I was watching the Mavs last two games and I noticed something...

The Dallas Mavericks suck because they don't play music at their games.



The crowd is all stiff and the energy in the building is stale. Can't ball out in dead space.

My Dubs consistently crank E-40, Mac Dre, and the Mozzy creating a very Bay vibe.



Most other teams play music/rap too when the home team has the ball. The best ones are when they play local artists.

Why do you think Dallas doesn't play music? Do any other teams not play music?

Something tells me Mark Cuban has something to do with this...

But to play NO music at all?

Dubs use organ for the road team, slaps for the home team. The sound system is always crackin. The difference compared to Dallas is night and day.
