I never hear my white Co -workers say they went to Beer festival or shyt like that with there Cuzzos

When it comes to us ..What you do this weekend? .. I went to a BBQ over my cousins house

A lot of Black people claim non family members (parents' friends' kids, etc.) and second- and third- and fourth-cousins as cousins.

the standard idea of family within the black community is so fractured when compared to the westernized idea of family that saying "cuzzo" doesn't just have to mean your blood relative, it could mean much more. that could be one reason why whites might not talk too much about their "cousins", they become more specific in their descriptions in comparison...

Many whites will disassociate themselves from their blood relatives if they do not fit into a specific category.....That's how they preserve the system of White Supremacy.
