Serious question. Why don’t Christians care about their God being disrespected?
This last week we had a thread about Indians giving out death threats to some random atheist who wanted to fck their goddess. These seriously sounded like people willing to die for their God’s respect.
A few years ago, Charlie Hepbo made a cartoon joking about prophet Muhammad and Arabs decided to attack the newspaper agency a year later. These were people willing to die for their God and his respect.
‘Same could be said for Jews who will starve you out of modern society for insulting or even making vague insinuations about Yahweh or even the same for the radicals in the Middle East that burn people alive for insulting Allah.
Conversely, Christianity has these guys boldly on TV making a mockery of the lord and savior...
All of these examples mock the god of Christianity, yet they still exist with minimal flack or outrage within mostly Christian societies. What makes Christianity so different from how other religions treat their god(s)?
