When you sign up to a subscription based model that is automatically paid and automatically extended

a) you are less likely to leave (people are lazy)
b) they can predict future income better and report that to stockholders
c) their user base number fluctuates less so they can state 'our user base is x'

They get 100% of your money when you sign up on WWE.com. I remember reading that places like Roku, Apple, and Amazon take around 10 to 20 percent if you sign up from there.

Maybe the place you get the card from takes a percentage.
