Why does no one have interest in a Karl Anderson solo run?

He has mic skills and charisma...but even going back to Bad Intentions, dude has always been paired with a big guy.

I've never heard anyone discuss a solo Karl Anderson run.

Any interest?

Probably because he's been jobbed out for so long it would be hard for people to see him as credible. Gallows is holding him back IMO

Because he's not that good. The only thing he had going for him in NJPW was his 30 step cutter sequences, which are off the table in WWE. The real question is: Why hasn't WWE figured out some fukkery way to bring the Southpaw characters on to Raw, because Gallows/Anderson are both far more charismatic and likable in their fake characters than they've ever been as their real characters, both in NJPW and WWE.

In NJ, he just had a very obvious ceiling as a singles wrestler. He had some damn good matches, but just never at a level that screamed "Top Guy". Also, like 70% of his work was based around a move he can't do in the WWE. I really don't know what he does in a 15-20 minute singles match without cutters.

In WWE though, working a slower pace, room for more character work, eh who knows. Owens got a singles run, and in the WWE sphere, I wouldn't be able to tell you what KO is better at than Karl.

Then don't even do an angle. Just bring them out as that one week and call it a night. Anderson/Gallows on Southpaw and just general backstage stuff are 1000% more entertaining and likable than they've ever shown on TV in any company.

They just need to turn Gallows & Anderson babyface at this point. I honestly think they would be better off, and the tag division needs another babyface tag-team. Are the Hardyz the only face tag-team on RAW?

They just presenting the team in a different way that makes you like them.

Karl is kinda like Billy Gun without the charisma and athleticism. He looks like one of those dollar store wrestling toys you stick your thumb in to wrestle other cheap dollar store wrestlers.

He is made for tag teaming or lower-mid card Heeling. Just don't have the spark. Hes arguably just a notch above Curtis Axel when he had the IC strap.
