Why does Booster Gold stay getting shytted on in the D.C. universe

and I'm a fan. Technically he's in a dumbed down iron man suit. The character himself is the draw.

Because he's an arrogant screw-up that originally came onto the scene to be a celebrity and make money by being a superhero. Don't know how he's portrayed in the New 52, but a few years before that he was becoming a serious superhero behind the scenes while still playing dumb in public so people wouldn't know about all the time-traveling stuff he was doing.

He's one of those characters i've read info on but never checked for. I saw the ep of JLU where he was front and center and I remember it being dope. I gotta check for his stuff, so if anyone knows the names of his graphic novels i'd appreciate it, with pics even

I know he was a time traveller for a spell, I even know about the former jock thing but other than that i'm in the dark. I swear him and blue beetle had adventures as well...
