Purely entertainment really. It's rare that I go into a film wanting to know about shyt from an educational level. Not that I can't learn about stuff from movies, but I definitely prefer surreal shyt over real life shyt. Basically, fiction over documentaries/biographies and such. And while I have the critical eye/appreciation for those finer things kinda films and shyt, I don't require the bulk of my movie watching to be on that wave. Just keep me entertained. In fact, I'm less critical on movies than most. It has to be a super piece of shyt or super boring in order for me to have and supply total disdain for them.
