So I picked up this chick today while listening to Life's a bytch by Nas and sheturned to me on some ":scusthov: I don't see how you can listen to this depressing ass shyt" I told her because life is depressing sometimes,it's not a 24/7 party and the song isn't depressing (but bytches only listen to hooks). She went on talking about how needs to listen to shyt that makes her want to dance and etc.I know some nikkas listen to music to avoid w/e bullshyt they are dealing with in their lives but I want to know if that's the majority of people.

Only time i can listen to some party type shyt is if i'm at a party.I usually can't stand that kind of shyt outside of that setting.Maybe i'm just a gloomy nikka :manny:.After Life's a bytch went off I turned to One Day by UGK just to :troll: her.

Different music for different occasions. There is a time to party and a time for sorrow and a time to say fukk the world. But music istn just about lyrics or hooks. You have to appreciate the instrumentation too.

Thats why i say any true music lover wont let something like language barrier deter them from appreciating great music.

Thats why some clones be like "oh i love music" and im like no fakkit you just like rap and R&B.

It baffles me how latin music is so under-appreciated here. Salsa is just beautiful.
THen you have Bossa Nova, Zouk-Retro, Calypso, Konpa and Merengue.

I've been getting into afrobeat lately. Some cool sh!t on there.

I listen to music to set the mood for whatever I'm doing. Or sometimes just to listen to whatever. Like right now I'm on the computer listening to Chief Keef. There are no loaded guns around but I just feel like listening to it.

And that "Thats why some clones be like "oh i love music" and im like no fakkit you just like rap and R&B." sentence intruder posted is some bullcrap. I love music but that doesn't mean I have to love all music. I like what I like and that's fine with me. You dot have to love all music to be a music lover :comeon: I only like hip-hop and reggae and there's no way you can tell me i'm not a music lover.

I'm a mood/setting person. When I jump in the car w/ my BF and he's playing Mobb Deep/DMX and shyt I'm just like  turn on some Waka man...but if I'm chilling at home I can listen to that stuff.

It took me forever to finally get into WU...One night I was just sitting at my computer bored and finally let 36 Chambers set in on me and wow I couldn't believe what I was missing out on. Even though, WU is maybe my fave group ever I can really only listen to it when I'm at home chilling.

I just turned itunes on and it immediately went to a Wu song. Perfect.

I listen to music to compliment whatever mood I am in at the time.

shoulda pushed her head in to the passenger window. like "stfu"

I listen to music pretty much for everything that I do, idk how some people can be close minded and only listen to just one genre.

it depends on my mood but I listen to pretty much everything, and when I tell ppl they don't believe me until they actually see that I listen to pretty much EVERYTHING.

I think I may be bi-polar
