he can anchor the pawn with something in the c or e lane. he can anchor it with the Knight but trade a center pawn for a side one. he can start making arrangements that once the gambit is taken he can hold on to his pawn using the a and b pawns. But most secure it badly and if you play e3 as white and not have Knight to F3 you can slide your queen there and capture his rook and destroying the whole left side

Yes. Men and women are different. Why is it so difficult to understand this concept? There is nothing satisfying about what you can give away. If women wanted to, they could have sex with a different man every single day of the year.
Stop trying to do what men do.
Women are incredibly straight forward when they want a relationship to be defined or pushed forward. That point is redundant considering the title and subject of the thread.

You're responding to an argument I never made. I never said all women are "using" men, but...
Connection =/= Security
Even when women have a strong emotional connection with a guy and even when the vibe matches, most women are thinking "is this dude going to lock me down." In the back of her mind she needs to know if buddy is serious, because if he is not, she is out there lost without a plan, moving in the wrong direction.
That's why the stereotype of a woman pushing for marriage and a man holding out exist. That's why when you visit your mammy (assuming you don't still live with her) and talk about your "man" she is always ask how close he is to something official. Women like that security, no matter what type of connection or vibe they have.
Guys don't have biological clocks, guys don't really fall in love the same way as women (again, men and women are different), and therefore, a dude can have a great connection and not be pressed to move it along. That's just our nature, it's who we are. This is why women often have a stronger emotional connection with one type of guy (a "bad boy" or "nice guy" or "leader") but end up settling down with another type (a "provider").
