True...I found out in 2014 my granddad had 2 daughters out of wedlock and one the same age as my dad. He was a short dude but he got his share of women. So for y'all think being short or dark skinned are hindrances....think again.
I do think things are more known about now due to social media

I also believe television and the media and social media and music have given many more people completely unrealistic expectations. Oddly enough now the Disney Princess fairytale mindset is more prevalent now than ever.

Maybe it's because with the internet today people aren't focusing on the reality around them and instead see all these shiny sparkly stories and things and think that's how life really works.

That's why when people tell me they want to mimic their relationships after <insert couple>, I cringe. I'm at a point where I want to build from scratch. fukk the gender roles, let's find what works for us and go from there.
