Why do u have to wear bowling shoes to bowl?

at the end of the day aint it just a normal gym floor brehs?

why the fukk am i paying to put on some shoes that hundreds of nikkas before me already had on?

but im too scared to just skip the rental booth and just hop on the bowling floor with my jordans on...like security gonna kick me out or somethin

any of u brehs brave enough to step on the floor in ur normal shoes?

the bowling lane itself is slicked (or whatever they do)...the normal floor where u stand, and grab the balls n/h and what not...is just an ordinary gym floor

You are supposed to slide when bowling, if you had shoes with grip you wouldnt be able to follow proper technique. Also rubber residue from tennis shoes causes the floor to have too much traction for the people who are actually trying to bowl.
