And to an extent mythology like games of thrones? So I'm playing ryse on the own and these people speaking in English accents. Why not just use Italian actors? And use an Italian accent
Huh instead of what?I agree. They should British accents instead.
Still doesn't explain why they don't use Italian accents of nowI'm quite sure Roman accents would have sound totally different to what we have heard today in terms of accent and since there is no audial proof of what a Roman accent sounded like, it really can't be copied.
With that said, I figured movies always used Brit voices because they got that more proper, regal sound about them? Granted, I ain't talking about Geordie or Brummie.
Yup but I'm sure Italians sound much closer than English doBecause we have no idea what they sound like.
It sets the tone for the lore I guess..lol...English accent is older than american accent...which explains Game Of Thrones imo..why would they have an American accent?..it's makes more sense for them to have either an English accent or to create a whole new accent..which would be far more work and less accessible..good fukking question.
It blows my mind on game of thrones why most of them have english accents because the book creator and show producers are american.
Then only reason I can think of is because most of the cast is english and Peter Dinklige would feel silly talking in a american accent among all those brits.
And I agree when shows and movies take place in Ancient Rome they should have Italian accents.
joiseyI don't wanna hear a fukking boston accent or some shyt in a medieval drama,
