Why do people feel the need to praise homosexuals who out themselves like they're heroes?

I have nothing against homosexuals but really is homosexuality not just another form of perversion? there's a lot of people who are into a lot of perverted stuff sexually so why do homosexuals get this special celebratory treatment for being public about their perversion while someone like R Kelly who was also a known pervert that was sexually attracted to teenagers gets scorn?

anybody can go on Google and search for sexual fetishes and find all kinds of people into all kinds of crazy shyt. what makes homosexuality so sacred that it should be treated with such reverence?

I don't necessarily think that everything is equal in its 'wickedness'. Homosexuality is an abomination. The people who engage in these acts should be put to death, according the God's word. Sex between a man and woman is the natural order of things (not the way it is in porn however), so I wouldn't consider lusting after the woman on the same level of homosexuality. But, it is what it is. Even if you don't watch porn, you still have lustful thoughts floating around in your mind, especially if sexual needs are not being fulfilled.

The only thing out of that statement that I disagree with is that it can be 'controlled.' Sure, you should stop watching porn if it controls lust, but that doesn't mean you won't have lustful thoughts. Yahawa (God) knows we fall short of his glory, so that's where grace comes into play. Plus, almost EVERYONE has committed adultery at one point or another. Why? Sex is what makes a marriage between two people. So if you have sex with someone who isn't a virgin, then you've committed adultery.
