Why do people consider it to be ''cool'' to slander Tidal?

On here and social media I often see people joke about Tidal like it's the WOAT service or something. Mind you, I'm not subscribed to Tidal or any streaming service but what's the deal?

For instances when an album drops on Tidal, I see ''let me sign up and get this album and unsub real quick'' joke like a thousand times. Like, if you don't fukk with a service that's cool. But what's with the hate?

Sheep. It's as simple as that. People hate what other people hate and love what other people love. I've been using Tidal for a good while now; and transferred over from Spotify. I love the service. I do.

They had a horrible marketing campaign when they debuted. The issue with Jay being the figurehead and having deals/exclusives for all his close friends in the business also creates a rift. It's sheepish to hate on it cause it's a good service with high quality audio, but also sheepish because it feels like a high school clique at times which turns people off

I enjoyed my trial and if I wasn't getting Spotify free I'd consider getting it again
