why not just use debit?

I've seen so many people get into debt with a credit card, and for what? to have things they can't afford at the time?

I've never heard of anyone getting into debt with a debit card. if you don't already have a credit card and reading this,.... don't get one.

many times when you use debit cards you still get charged a fee at a register, and the funds are removed from your account instantly. Many people dont know this but It costs the business more to run credit because they have to pay additional fees to the credit companies to be able to accept credit cards, but the advantage to you is that credit companies are required to eat the cost if your cards are stolen and run as credit, but banks are not required this of debit.

So if someone sees you enter your pin and steals your credit info to run as debit, you may get stuck with the bill. Banks are required by law not to allow you to overdarft if you make that request with the bank ahead of time, that is regardless of whether you run your card as debit or credit. Most banks do not charge a debit transaction fee unless you are using the card at a outside ATM machine, in which case the credit choice will not be an option anyway.

When you use credit the funds stay in your account for up to 3 business days then deducted, this is why I always choose credit when using a debit card with a visa/mastercard logo, it benefits the consumer.

:aicmon:Cuz debit cards dont build up you credit, come directly out of your account and most importantly offer no fraud protection.

Nikka is you serious right now? When you use a debit card, they taking your money right away, but if you use a credit card, its the banks money. So some place charged you twice or some shyt, the bank/financial institution will make sure you get charged right, and if necessary refund the money etc. Plus cash back, rewards, etc. Also building your credit up.

Why would i have an issue with them taking my moeny right away?

I get cash back on debit,

And other ways you can build up credit.
