Why do Pacquiao fans overrate his "Power" so damn much???

I mean wtf are people seeing? Every fight they say oh he's gonna knock this guy out. Oh like he KO''d Bradley or Rios, or JMM or Clottey. GTFOH with his overrated ass power

And yea I know what Margo's face looked like after their fight. But he ain't 1 punching people out here. Hatton's dumb ass walked right into a punch

Bradley, Rios, JMM, and Clottey have never been KO'd before so I dont see why Manny's power would be overrated because he couldnt KO them just like Mike Alvarado, Timothy Bradley, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Chris John, Freddie Norwood, Javier Duran, Carlos Baldomir, Antonio Margarito, or Miguel Cotto couldnt.


No, Manny is NOT a 1 punch KO artist...he swarms you with his shots.

However, he does have great power and the last 2 guys he fought who have lost via "KO", Manny beat them as well via KO (Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton)

no real need for any detailed analysis..manny has brutalized cats..he has major scalps..and even with the cats he hasn't stopped or lost to they still left the ring fukked up..clottey maybe the only exception to that in prolly the last 13 or so years...manny has a puncher rep...its no different from any other fighter with a puncher rep who has displayed brutal displays of power over and over..like everyone knows randall bailey, as old and past it as he is, has the power to KO anybody at 147 at any given time for example..it is what it is

to use what you describe as pac's fighting style...the punisher was a mean volume puncher in the same vein plus bigger than manny and he didn't do the type of damage to margo that pac did

i wouldn't say pac power is overrated, cause that lil motherfukkka can crack. he's just not that 1 punch ko artist like julian jackson, hearns, bob foster, shavers, foreman. he has always been a good puncher going back to his flyweight days. i will say at 147, he's lost some steam considering how much he's gone up in weight.

i will say, i thought he was going to ko margarito why? because Margarito was tailor made for him, flat footed, no head-movement/no defense and took ass whippin from mosley which took his whole aura away from him. same with rios he was tailormade for pac, flat footed, no head-movment, no jab, no defense and just dumb enough to walk into pac's traps/combinations.

i thought he could ko bradley in the 2nd fight, just cause of how unpredictable bradley can get by getting into exchanges rather than fighting smart.

very few said he was gonna ko clottey though. from what i remember, people were saying clottey would go into a shell and pac would just outwork him to a ud.

Despite not getting KO's, he has physically brutalized his opponents.
Add in the fact he is also arguably the smallest fighter at 147.

He may not have KO power at 147, but what fighters are eating Pacquiao's punches like they are coming from Paulie, his punches are still hurting people.

edit: You have to remember that the people you are talking about believe their fighter can do anything. They are the same type who vote Mayweather by KO in the polls, knowing damn well he hasn't come close to a KO vs a legit WW (and the one he has was off a disputable "cheap shot").
